We live in the time of technological progress, new techniques and great changes in medical training and education. Our time gives us a variety of opportunities for continuous improvement.
However, given the huge amount of new information to be processed and numberless medical conferences, it becomes more and more difficult to decide which information is most important and to determine one's priorities for one's own training and to find time in our busy schedules. And these are the factors we took into account while creating the Program of the Festival.
Would you like to know what sets our event apart from most others?
We value your time! Our one-week (!) program includes an entire range of conferences on the most popular topics in minimally invasive surgery, so that every guest will find something to suit his or her own interest. The Festival is eventially the only multidisciplinary event that brings together surgeons, endoscopists and interventional radiologists in order to find the best ways to implement minimally invasive techniques.
One of our main goals is to make sure that each of you will participate directly in everything that happens at the Festival! That's why we expect your active participation during the live streams and discussions, including, this year, special interactive communication with the chairs and experts! The session «I have a question yto an expert!» will allow you to learn about the pointviews of various experts in a panel discussion.
For the young doctors, we plan to hold a special educational session «What should I know today to become a better surgeon tomorrow?», in which leading experts will not only reveal the secrets of success in doing scientific work, giving presentations, and writing scientific papers, but also will tell about what's usually not included in classic medical education. This year, the Professor Starkov Award is being established to recognize the best scientific and practical work in the area of minimally invasive surgery among resident physicians. The main goal of this Award is to support and promote scientific activity by providing young doctors the opportunity to present their work at the Festival along with renown experts.
You also will have a chance to learn about cutting-edge equipment and test it out at a large-scale technology exhibition, where more than 30 manufacturers will be represented. For those who want to be prepared for future technologies, we recommend to attend the symposium " The Future Technologies: What Should We Know Today?"
Of course, the Festival wouldn't be complete without ENDOFEST2018 – a must-visit event, which you never find at any other medical conference! This special event will be packed with the latest information, discussions, pleasant conversations with colleagues, and exchanges of new ideas! Theformat of informal socializing will allow the barriers between participants and experts to come down!
